So for some weird reason I'm on a 80's KICK. I been downloading a lot of 80's music for my ipod...LOL I know I'm wierd...
(I think my Ipod is a homosexual. It gets turned on when I put the USB port on him fast and hard...Should I be concerned?)
But I finally have all projects done and I can actually finish my HP scarf I started FOREVER AGO and start my scarf and hat project for my Scarf Exchange partner...
So I think I know what I'm making for her. I hope she likes it...
I have to find a cute hat to make now for her...
*sigh*
btw I ordered a new knitting book from the G.C my mom gave me to Amazon. Alteraknits...I hope its as cute as I'm hoping it is.

bible thumpers
Well now we have a color coded map for where all the stupid people are...
I'm tired of all these bible thumpers saying that they are beter than me. I'm sory but love is love is love...I'mnot saying you should like the fact I'm gay but I should have the same rights as you do...
Stop using the bible to justify your narrow minded stupidy. You are not Christians. I'm waiting for Jesus to come back and say "That's not what I ment!"
And for all those that are getting pissed off at this post and running to your bibles to justify your thoughts I want you to read some scripture...
Flip to Mathew: Chapter 11 Verse 17 if my memory serves me rights it reads:
Shut the Fuck Up!

And Joey was like ummm "Hun...your water just broke"...All she could say was "Oh". Yea I thought it was funny

Until there's a cure...
Since I forgot to post on world Aids day I'll do it now...
Worldwide:
* Over 22 million people have died from AIDS.
* Over 42 million people are living with HIV/AIDS, and 74 percent of these infected people live in sub-Saharan Africa.
* Over 19 million women are living with HIV/AIDS.
* By the year 2010, five countries (Ethiopia, Nigeria, China, India, and Russia) with 40 percent of the world's population will add 50 to 75 million infected people to the worldwide pool of HIV disease.
* There are 14,000 new infections every day (95 percent in developing countries). HIV/AIDS is a "disease of young people" with half of the 5 million new infections each year occurring among people ages 15 to 24.
* The UN estimates that, currently, there are 14 million AIDS orphans and that by 2010 there will be 25 million.
United States:
* An estimated 800,000 to 900,000 people are currently living with HIV in the United States, with approximately 40,000 new infections occurring each year.
* 70 percent of these new infections occur in men and 30 percent occur in women.
* By race, 54 percent of the new infections in the United States occur among African Americans, and 64 percent of the new infections in women occur in African American women.
* 75 percent of the new infections in women are heterosexually transmitted.
* Half of all new infections in the United States occur in people 25 years of age or younger.
And I ask Everyone that visits this site to PLEASE take a few seconds and check out Until There's a Cure...

too much for krysmas?
ok so I am debating getting Nick a ipod for Krysmas...So after looking at them I have decied on gettign him an actual Ipod, becasue the others are TOO small and we would loose them LoL. I think I am going to get him a white one and get myself the black one. And on his I am going to have it envgraved with "I Love You" then on the second line is going to say I love you but I think I'm going to have it in Jap. Got to love free engraving LoL...
but what do you guys think about this?
I was also going to knit him a ipod arm band so he can carry it around on his arm when he goes jogging/bike riding/driving/ignoring his boss at wrok or just walking aroundthe apartment
reasons I want to get this for him:
1. It would free up ALOT of space on our eMac since we have alot of music and his photography on it
2. It holds 25,000 pics and that is MORE than enough space for him to download his pics when he has to go on shoots
3. They are cute as hell!
So what are your guys thoughts on this...to over the top?

Can I be yours?
Transylvanian Concubine
If you want to know how
To fly high, then go now
To the place where all the concubines...
Meet and converse with them
Marvel at their pale skin
Wonder how they chew on their pointy...
Teeth and hair are beauty
They know it's their duty
To be countess in their hearts and their...
Minds that have to whisper
See in them a sister
Look into their eyes and you'll become
Transylvanian Concubine.
You know what flows here like wine.
Stay here with us, it's just time.
Transylvanian Concubine.
Sorrow is their master
Cackling with laughter
Now he's having just one piece of...
Cakey is their make-up
Catholics try to shake up
All the things that form their lives, but
they're...
Dead, their sighs, their songs
They know what they do is wrong.
Stay here with us, it's just time.
Transylvanian Concubine.
Candelabra's lighted
Satan has been sighted
Never has there been an evening like...
This is what they wanted
Always to feel hunted
You can never be too rich or too...
Thin. The blood has run out.
Fangs ruin any cute pout
Morning has come now they've flown
What have you learned from what has been
shown?

Goodbye Rosa
I seen this yesterday...
*lights a candle*
By BREE FOWLER
DETROIT (AP) - Rosa Parks, whose refusal to give up her bus seat to a white man sparked the modern civil rights movement, died Monday evening. She was 92.
Mrs. Parks died at her home during the evening of natural causes, with close friends by her side, said Gregory Reed, an attorney who represented her for the past 15 years.
Mrs. Parks was 42 when she committed an act of defiance in 1955 that was to change the course of American history and earn her the title ``mother of the civil rights movement.''
At that time, Jim Crow laws in place since the post-Civil War Reconstruction required separation of the races in buses, restaurants and public accommodations throughout the South, while legally sanctioned racial discrimination kept blacks out of many jobs and neighborhoods in the North.
The Montgomery, Ala., seamstress, an active member of the local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, was riding on a city bus Dec. 1, 1955, when a white man demanded her seat.
Mrs. Parks refused, despite rules requiring blacks to yield their seats to whites. Two black Montgomery women had been arrested earlier that year on the same charge, but Mrs. Parks was jailed. She also was fined $14.
U.S. Rep. John Conyers, in whose office Parks worked for more than 20 years, remembered the civil rights leader Monday night as someone whose impact on the world was immeasurable, but who never saw herself that way.
``Everybody wanted to explain Rosa Parks and wanted to teach Rosa Parks, but Rosa Parks wasn't very interested in that,'' he said. ``She wanted to them to understand the government and to understand their rights and the Constitution that people are still trying to perfect today.''
Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick said he felt a personal tie to the civil rights icon: ``She stood up by sitting down. I'm only standing here because of her.''
Speaking in 1992, Mrs. Parks said history too often maintains ``that my feet were hurting and I didn't know why I refused to stand up when they told me. But the real reason of my not standing up was I felt that I had a right to be treated as any other passenger. We had endured that kind of treatment for too long.''
Her arrest triggered a 381-day boycott of the bus system organized by a then little-known Baptist minister, the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., who later earned the Nobel Peace Prize for his work.
``At the time I was arrested I had no idea it would turn into this,'' Mrs. Parks said 30 years later. ``It was just a day like any other day. The only thing that made it significant was that the masses of the people joined in.''
The Montgomery bus boycott, which came one year after the Supreme Court's landmark declaration that separate schools for blacks and whites were ``inherently unequal,'' marked the start of the modern civil rights movement.
The movement culminated in the 1964 federal Civil Rights Act, which banned racial discrimination in public accommodations.
After taking her public stand for civil rights, Mrs. Parks had trouble finding work in Alabama. Amid threats and harassment, she and her husband Raymond moved to Detroit in 1957. She worked as an aide in the Detroit office of Democratic U.S. Rep. John Conyers from 1965 until retiring in 1988. Raymond Parks died in 1977.
Mrs. Parks became a revered figure in Detroit, where a street and middle school were named for her and a papier-mache likeness of her was featured in the city's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Mrs. Parks said upon retiring from her job with Conyers that she wanted to devote more time to the Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development. The institute, incorporated in 1987, is devoted to developing leadership among Detroit's young people and initiating them into the struggle for civil rights.
``Rosa Parks: My Story'' was published in February 1992. In 1994 she brought out ``Quiet Strength: The Faith, the Hope and the Heart of a Woman Who Changed a Nation,'' and in 1996 a collection of letters called ``Dear Mrs. Parks: A Dialogue With Today's Youth.''
She was among the civil rights leaders who addressed the Million Man March in October 1995.
In 1996, she received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, awarded to civilians making outstanding contributions to American life. In 1999, she was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal, the nation's highest civilian honor.
Mrs. Parks received dozens of other awards, ranging from induction into the Alabama Academy of Honor to an NAACP Image Award for her 1999 appearance on CBS' ``Touched by an Angel.''
The Rosa Parks Library and Museum opened in November 2000 in Montgomery. The museum features a 1955-era bus and a video that recreates the conversation that preceded Parks' arrest.
``Are you going to stand up?'' the bus driver asked.
``No,'' Parks answered.
``Well, by God, I'm going to have you arrested,'' the driver said.
``You may do that,'' Parks responded.
Mrs. Parks' later years were not without difficult moments.
In 1994, Mrs. Parks' home was invaded by a 28-year-old man who beat her and took $53. She was treated at a hospital and released. The man, Joseph Skipper, pleaded guilty, blaming the crime on his drug problem.
The Parks Institute struggled financially since its inception. The charity's principal activity - the annual Pathways to Freedom bus tour taking students to the sites of key events in the civil rights movement - routinely cost more money than the institute could raise.
Mrs. Parks lost a 1999 lawsuit that sought to prevent the hip-hop duo OutKast from using her name as the title of a Grammy-nominated song. In 2000, she threatened legal action against an Oklahoma man who planned to auction Internet domain name rights to www.rosaparks.com.
After losing the OutKast lawsuit, Reed, her attorney, said Mrs. Parks ``has once again suffered the pains of exploitation.'' A later suit against OutKast's record company was settled out of court.
She was born Rosa Louise McCauley on Feb. 4, 1913, in Tuskegee, Ala. Family illness interrupted her high school education, but after she married Raymond Parks in 1932, he encouraged her and she earned a diploma in 1934. He also inspired her to become involved in the NAACP.
Looking back in 1988, Mrs. Parks said she worried that black young people took legal equality for granted.
Older blacks, she said ``have tried to shield young people from what we have suffered. And in so doing, we seem to have a more complacent attitude.
``We must double and redouble our efforts to try to say to our youth, to try to give them an inspiration, an incentive and the will to study our heritage and to know what it means to be black in America today.''
At a celebration in her honor that same year, she said: ``I am leaving this legacy to all of you ... to bring peace, justice, equality, love and a fulfillment of what our lives should be. Without vision, the people will perish, and without courage and inspiration, dreams will die - the dream of freedom and peace.''

The man, Joseph Skipper, pleaded guilty, blaming the crime on his drug problem.

sending love to a freind
So I found out that a friend I work with has a daughter that recently found out she has cancer. She is in her 30's I think and when I asked what kind it was he said that it was "down there". So I'm thinking its either cervical or ovarian. He is going up to New York this weekend to drop his wife off to be with her for a month. I want to do something for her but I have NO IDEA where to start. First off, I have never even met her. The reason I want to help her is because I was know what its like to find out something so dramatic that changes ones life. but I really don't know that to do make for her. I was thinking something white for "surviving"...
Any ideas?

Gay Marriage
the reasons I'mm against gay marriage...I hope some of you feel the same way I do!
1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets, because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

It's Ruined
So I'm having a few bad days, people are setting me up at work for sh*t I didn't do, own truck's battery died last night, nick forgot to pick me up tonight, and to add insult to injury I get home and tell him that I need to run to the post office tomorrow and mail l out some scarfs some people bought from me. And he was like OH YEA that blue fuzzy scarf is ruined I didn't see that you hung it up on the chandler * where I hang ALL of my scarfs, and he KNOWS this* and I turned it on and burned it...
ok first off he knows for a FACT I hang them up there, its not like you CANT SEE THEM, secondly if a scarf was on a light bulb would you be able to tell because the lack of light? And secondly he is blaming me cause I hung it up there, when I have been doing thins for MONTHS it keeps them out of the way and adds some decorativeness to the room...And for months now he takes them down if they get in the way...
I'm so mad right now...
I'm back after some tears were shed..*seriously*
here is why I'm so upset. I sold this scarf on eBay and all the profit that I had on it is now gone, not only that I have to drive 30 min to get more yarn for it, and on top of which this was my FIRST EVER eBay sell. I was sooo proud of it, I felt like people actually wanted my stuff and now its ruined...

I AM a Redneck Woman!
WOOHOO I got my new scarf today from the exchange...its SOOO pics in tomorrow post!
I think that if you live in Indiana no matter how smart of educated are you have some redneck in you. And in honor of all us Rednecks I am playing this song! Here is the vid to all of those that want to see it...
file://localhost/private/tmp/501/Cleanup At Startup/GWilson_RedneckWomanVidFull.ram
Well I ain't never
Been the barbie doll type
No I can't swig that sweet champagne
I'd rather drink beer all night
In a tavern or in a honky tonk
Or on a 4 wheel drive tailgate
I've got posters on my wall of Skynard, Kid and Strait
Some people look down on me
But I don't give a rip
I'll stand barefooted in my own front yard with a baby on my hip
Cause I'm a redneck woman
And I ain't no high class broad
I'm just a product of my raisin'
And I say "hey y'all" and "Yee Haw"
And I keep my Christmas lights on, on my front porch all year long
And I know all the words to every Charlie Daniels song
So here's to all my sisters out there keepin' it country
Let me get a big "Hell Yeah" from the redneck girls like me
Hell Yeah
Hell Yeah
Victoria's Secret
Well their stuff's real nice
Oh but I can buy the same damn thing on a Wal*Mart shelf half price
And still look sexy
Just as sexy
As those models on TV
No I don't need no designer tag to make my man want me
You might think I'm trashy
A little too hard core
But get in my neck of the woods
I'm just the girl next door
Hey I'm redneck woman
And I ain't no high class broad
I'm just a product of my raisin'
And I say "hey y'all" and "Yee Haw"
And I keep my Christmas lights on, on my front porch all year long
And I know all the words to every Tanya Tucker song
So here's to all my sisters out there keeping it country
Let me get a big "Hell Yeah" from the redneck girls like me
Hell Yeah
Hell Yeah
I'm redneck woman
And I ain't no high class broad
I'm just a product of my raisin'
And I say "hey y'all" and "Yee Haw"
And I keep my Christmas lights on, on my front porch all year long
And I know all the words to every Ol' Bocephus song
So here's to all my sisters out there keeping it country
Let me get a big "Hell Yeah" from the redneck girls like me
Hell Yeah
Hell Yeah
Hell Yeah
Hell Yeah
Hell Yeah
Hell Yeah
I Said Hell Yeah
I think that if you live in Indiana no matter how smart of educated are you have some redneck in you. And in honor of all us Rednecks I am playing this song! Here is the vid to all of those that want to see it...

Well I ain't never
Been the barbie doll type
No I can't swig that sweet champagne
I'd rather drink beer all night
In a tavern or in a honky tonk
Or on a 4 wheel drive tailgate
I've got posters on my wall of Skynard, Kid and Strait
Some people look down on me
But I don't give a rip
I'll stand barefooted in my own front yard with a baby on my hip
Cause I'm a redneck woman
And I ain't no high class broad
I'm just a product of my raisin'
And I say "hey y'all" and "Yee Haw"
And I keep my Christmas lights on, on my front porch all year long
And I know all the words to every Charlie Daniels song
So here's to all my sisters out there keepin' it country
Let me get a big "Hell Yeah" from the redneck girls like me
