Earl grey

What u need:
1 set of size three dpn
400 yrds of fingering weight

Cast on 60:

Foundation rows
Knit 1 s1wyf* to end
Purl 1 s1wyb* to end

Now arrange over three dpns being sure not to twist the stitches

Knit 3, Purl 1

Continue for 9 inches (or desired lenghth)

Thumb gusset:
On either side of the purl stitch on the last repeat, your going to do a lifted bar increase. Knit into the back of the stitch to keep it tight. Then knit three rounds even keeping the 3x1 rib up the back and palm.

Your gonna want to increase this way till you have 9 stitches in either side of the center purl stitch. (K3,p1,k9, p1, k9, p1, k3)

Place the new 18 stitches and the central purl stitch on waste yarn

Cast on 1 on the last needle

Now when you knit in pattern you will start and end the row with a purl stitch for one row.

On the next you will purl the first and last stitch together and continue the k3p1 up ur plam for 4 inches and bind off.

Now go back and pick up the stitches on the waste yarn.

Knit 9, purl 1, knit 9, cast on one

Knit the thumb in a 9 and 1 rib for one inch and bind off

Sew the hole on tje btm of the thumb gusset closed and your done!

I hope that makes since. Any questions please let me know...
