I'm really moved by the article. It's awful that someone would treat him differently. I mean, I suppose I can understand. Not gonna lie and say it wouldn't shock me at first, but the truth is that there is a life in his body that needs care! It's deplorable that medical professionals would treat anyone that way. I say kudos to his family! And a big *hug!* for them too.
That was very interesting! I'm really disappointed to hear about all the problems they've been having in the medical community, though. Although it's unfortunate about their family and friends, it's not that surprising. But one would hope that medical professionals would act, well, professional.
I saw them on Oprah and thought that they were just adorable together and a very solid couple.
His wife's adult daughters were there and had absolutely NO problem with their decision to have a child. Like Tomas said, it's not a female drive to have a child it's a human drive and if it's their choice then hey, they should be able to go ahead and do it with standard medical treatment.
I can't stand the haters that say "it's so wrong" blah blah. I think that it takes a lot of balls (pardon the pun) to make the decision to change genders and even more to do what they are doing.
